Profound gives us clear insights into our AI visibility, helping us better understand performance and exposure across key channels. Profound helps us solve the problem of limited visibility into how our AI content is being discovered, engaged with, and ranked across different platforms. Before using Profound, it was difficult to pinpoint where we were gaining traction or falling short. Now, we get actionable insights into performance trends, keyword visibility, and competitive benchmarks. What do you like best about Profound?

I find the prompt functionality in Profound particularly valuable. It allows us to input concepts and determine which prompts would be most beneficial for us to author content on, based on the searches within Gen AI platforms. This has been incredibly useful in guiding our content strategy. Additionally, the capability of Profound to assist in writing content tailored to the selected prompts, using the inputs we provide, is a strong feature as an assisted tool. It enhances our content development process, ensuring relevance and potentially improving our visibility. This makes Profound a good tool for augmented executive optimization (AEO). What do you dislike about Profound?

I find the overall user experience and dashboard of Profound to be confusing. It is not clear what is working and why. While I can improve our content, I don't know if it is being found in AI search or how it is performing. The data provided is inconsistent at the moment. Additionally, with constant changes, it's hard to know what new features may be helpful. Profound needs better onboarding and training, as well as a clear dashboard that showcases the improvements and their reasons with truthful data. A simple report should be available with the option to delve deeper. Integration with other tools is limited, as it doesn't integrate well with our existing systems unless they are among the few platforms it easily works with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
